In the meantime, once the update is released, it should work fine or now. When asked, KLR replied “Can’t comment on future plans but rest assured there is a LOT of passion for the Nik products at Google.” I haven’t seen anyone at Nik or Google address Snapseed specifically, so we’ll see what comes to pass. They haven’t directly addressed whether Snapseed will continue as an iOS app or not. This would parallel Snapseed’s deployment on iOS when it was released for iPad first before supporting the smaller screens fo the iPhone and iPod Touch. When asked, the reply was “We don’t talk dates, but we’re working to make it compatible w/ many devices. Also hinted at are upcoming versions of Snapseed that support a wider range of Android devices.
